Advancing environmental assessment practice in South Africa

The Association has been established in order to advance, on a nonprofit basis, the practice and quality of environmental assessment in South Africa in the public interest, in the interest of the environment, and in terms of relevant legislation through establishing and maintaining inter alia a registration authority for Environmental Assessment Practitioners.

EAPASA Positions Available in Gauteng

Environmental Assessment Practitioners Association of South Africa (EAPASA) is a newly established organisation, appointed as the sole Registration Authority for Environmental Assessment Practitioners (EAPs) in South Africa. The main purpose of EAPASA is to advance, on a non-profit basis, the practice and the quality of Environmental Impact Assessments (EIAs), in the public interest and in the interest of the environment. EAPASA is seeking to fulfil the following positions to oversee and implement its key delivery areas over the next five years. The appointments will be on a 5 year fixed term contract basis, reviewable annually and only renewable based on satisfactory performance.
